Luis Dave Cerda is a young independent filmmaker, director, producer, ambient sound artist, poet, marketing and advertising specialist, and founder of the Nostalgia Juvenil film festival, now known as the Festival Film Party Grunge Tumblr. A film student at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, he has distinguished himself through his versatility in the creative arts. At 22, he made his first independent short film, titled *Carmen* (2025), followed by *Princess* (2025), his third work, *Angel Dark* (2026), *The American Teacher* (2026), and his debut feature film, *Valentina* (2027). He is a pioneer in bringing the alternative American sub-aesthetics of Indie Sleaze, Soft Grunge Tumblr, and Messy It Girl to the Dominican Republic.
